Trying to escape

When I go in to get Mary in the mornings or from a nap this is what I find!  She is actually trying to climb out of her crib.  Look at that flexibility in the second pic!  This is so funny to me!  I know I will not be saying that if she actually does it and gets out one day.  Happy Friday!

Side note...to make a comment on our blog you have to click on the actual blog post title and then it allows you to do so.  This is so weird!  Thanks to Neel and Callen for trying to help me figure it out!  If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know!

15 months!

This past Thursday Mary turned 15 months old! I can hardly believe how the time has flown. My little baby is moving right on into the toddler stage. She still only has two teeth on the bottom, but the top two have finally broken the skin and are on their way. She is walking full speed and is close to running! She is getting harder and harder for me to keep up with. She is saying "da da da" constantly with a little "ma ma ma" every now and then. If I ask her "where is your daddy" she points to Joe Pat and says "da". She says "ba" when she is chasing her ball around. Some of her favorite things to play with are her hot pink soccer ball and all of her books! She carries her books around, sits down and reads them to herself and brings them to us to read to her. She loves them! She waves bye bye after a good thirty seconds to a minute of us telling her over and over again to say "bye bye". She loves playing hide and go seek and squeals so loud when she finds her daddy. She is so much fun right now and we cannot get enough! We love you Mary!
