Mary is 2!!

Mary turned two on April 29th!!  It was such a fun day and weekend celebrating with our families.  Saturday began bright and early with watching Joe Pat run in the Music City Half Marathon.

I love her face in this one!  It was really fun seeing her reaction when opening gifts this year!

Mary actually blew out her candle all by herself this year!  I cannot believe my baby is two years old!!

Easter Fun

We had a great Easter in Nashville this year!  Mary had some really fun egg hunts and a visit from the Easter bunny!  All in all it was a great weekend with friends and family.

It's going to be an EXCITING fall!!!

We are expecting Baby McGuigan #2 in October!!  We are SO EXCITED and cannot wait to meet this new addition to our family.   We tell Mary all the time that she is going to be a big sister, but she has no idea what is getting ready to happen.  I know it is going to be a huge adjustment, but I think she will eventually love it!!

Hunter's 30th Birthday!

We went up to my parents' lake house for the weekend to celebrate Hunter's upcoming 30th birthday!  He didn't want a party or any attention so it was a very low key, but really FUN weekend.  The weather was great and we all had a wonderful time being together.  Can't wait until we are all together again!

1st Haircut

I finally got my nerve up to get Mary's hair cut! It went about like I expected.  You can see the fear on her face!  It looks really cute though and the lady said it will really thicken up and grow faster now!  Ponytails and pigtails here we come...ha!

Renovating Continues...

We are moving right along with the renovation.  My brother, Hunter, and his company do spray foam insulation and it is INCREDIBLE!!  They were here this past weekend and did a great job.  The temperature in our entire house feels so much better!! You will see the pics in the middle of this post.  The drywall was hung today and they are coming to start the finishing process tomorrow!  I am starting to get anxious for the finished product.  I know we still have quite a bit left, but the progress feels awesome!

Renovating!!

Yes, we are finally finishing out the upstairs in our house!  We decided to keep the existing space and put new drywall and carpet up there.  It will make the perfect playroom for Mary!!  I am really excited to have a space for all of the toys!!  It will make a great place for her to run and play and entertain her friends up there!!  Here are some pics from the demo two weekends ago!!  We worked again this past weekend.  More pics from that to follow soon.
Before demo and after it was pretty much cleared out

I got to make the first hole in the dry wall!

Ceiling and insulation all taken out
