Fall Weekend

We had a fun and low key weekend.  The weather was so nice and it's starting to feel like fall around here!  Here is Mary all decked out in her new corduroy skirt and UT appliqued shirt.  The VOLS made it a little difficult being a fan this weekend.  We need to get it together guys! 

This is me getting ready for a wedding shower Saturday night.  Mary wanted me to hold her and be up in the action so I just put her in the sink while I got ready.  It didn't seem that strange to me because I have to do things all the time to occupy her when I need to get something done.  Are you with me moms?!  Joe Pat thought it was hilarious when he came to the bathroom and saw us!  He couldn't resist taking this pic. 

1st Day of School

Mary had her first day of school (Mother's Day Out) today!  She actually did great.  I was expecting some crying and separation anxiety, but she got down and started playing immediately.  She was so busy she didn't even notice me slipping out.  They have one of those rooms that you can look into the classroom, but they can't see you.  I actually had tears in my eyes as I watched her playing with the toys and other kids.  I think it's going to be a great experience for the both us!
